Non-Hazardous Waste Disposal
Non-Hazardous Waste Disposal
AER conducts a weekly milk run to various client’s facilities to pick up non-hazardous waste. We then transport the waste to a permitted processing facility. The waste will either be solidified and sent to landfill, sent through wastewater treatment, or used for energy and recycling purposes. A certificate of disposal will be available to show that all wastes are disposed of properly.

Appalachian Environmental Resources, Inc. operates a non-hazardous solid waste processing facility. This facility has been permitted by the State of Tennessee, Department of Environment and Conservation operating under Permit-by-Rule 1200-1-7-02(1)(c)(1)(i) of Tennessee’s Solid Waste Processing and Disposal Regulations. This plant is designed for processing and solidifying commercial and industrial non-hazardous waste.
Our Skills & Expertise
We work with our customers to identify and profile their waste streams. Once characterized, these non-hazardous wastes are brought into our facility where they are stabilized and solidified according to State requirements. The processed waste is then sent to the Iris Glen Environmental Center in Johnson City, TN for final disposition.
