3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use a limited set of cookies and tracking technologies on aertn.com.

Google Analytics 4

Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. GA4 collects data through cookies and similar technologies. The information generated, including your anonymized IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google.

  • Purpose: Site usage analytics and performance improvement
  • Data retention: Our GA4 property is configured for 14 months of user-level data retention.
  • Opt-out: You can opt out of GA4 tracking using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

For more on how Google handles this data, see Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses data from sites or apps that use our services.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor how our site appears in Google Search results. Search Console does not place cookies on your device and does not collect personally identifiable information about individual visitors.

Advertising and tracking pixels

We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or social media tracking on aertn.com. We do not track you across other websites.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. We honor these signals where applicable by limiting analytics tracking for visitors whose browsers transmit them.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate our website, on terms requiring them to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us. These include:

  • Google — Analytics 4 and Search Console (processor)
  • Our website host — server infrastructure and storage
  • Email service providers — to receive and respond to your contact form submissions

We may also share information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5. International data transfers

Some of our service providers, including Google, are based in the United States and may process data from international visitors in the US. For visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, we rely on Google’s certifications under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

6. Data retention

We retain the information you submit through our contact form for 3 years from your last interaction with us, unless you become a client (in which case retention follows our client engagement records) or you ask us to delete sooner.

Analytics data collected through Google Analytics 4 is retained according to our GA4 retention configuration (see Section 3).

  • Portability: Request your information in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdraw consent: Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Objection: Object to specific uses of your information.

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out is needed for that.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@aertn.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection authorities, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
